Very competent and reasonably priced repair shop
My husband had his vehicle repaired last week for our first experience with this business, and everything went as expected. He returned to finish the job with an alignment, and they were to busy to assist him. He made a next morning appointment. When he arrived for his appointment, he was told they could not get to him. Again, he had just made the appointment with the owner the morning prior. The first part of the job was the most expensive, and he had been paid. We were shocked a business would give such poor service to a new customer, and we were hoping to have found a dependable repair guy in Smithfield, since we own 6 vehicles. No way we will ever go back.
I would give these guys 100 stars if I could. I have known Ray personally since I was about 12 when my parents would take their cars in to be worked on where he worked previously. I am now 23 and wouldn't take my truck to another shop if the other shop paid me to take it there. They always deliver on their promises and their rates are the best I have ever seen. I now live in Newport News and there are about a dozen shops around my house and I still make the drive to Smithfield to get my service done there. The truck is about to be 17 years old with 192,000 miles and runs better than new trucks I have driven. Why is that? Because you can't beat the quality of their work! I hope it makes it to 1,000,000 miles and with their work it probably will! It's hard enough to find a repair shop you can trust. Well not only do I trust their shop completely but I trust Ray and every technician in that shop with my life and I couldn't ask for more than that. Keep it up Ray you have a life-long customer with me.
